SCEPTRE LOCATION WITHIN THE MARINA #22-23 WEST YARD
SHOP - YARD DIRECTIONS Turn right off Graybar Road into the parking lot. During regular hours the gate to the yard is open. The yard is divided into three areas as you drive west. Sceptre is located at the far end of the second yard. Our office is located at the back of the portable building on the West side of the large blue & white tent structure. Parking is limited. You must park inside of the white lines which denote the travel lift pathway.
SHOP HOURS OF OPERATION Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm Except for emergencies we are closed weekends and statutory holidays
SHOP POLICIES & PROCEDURES For safety and security for you & our employees: Please report to the office prior to entering the cabinetry shop or shed area. No children or pets are permitted in the shop. Unaccompanied visitors such as friends dropping by to view progress are not encouraged. We are a friendly bunch but visitors are an expensive distraction for you and can be a safety hazard to visitors and staff. Smoking is not permitted - it's the LAW!!! We appreciate your co-operation.
We maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance & Ship Repairer's Liability Insurance, which covers our work on your boat, however current owners insurance on boats & contents must be maintained at all times. Clearing your boat of personal possessions prior to bringing it to us for work is highly recommended. (This enables us to work more efficiently and thus saves you money!)
Due to Liability Issues DIY on your boat while inside our buildings is not permissible. Prior to working inside our buildings, all tradesmen or sub-contractors must provide Sceptre with a copy of the following insurance coverage: 1) Current Worksafe BC 2) Commercial Liability Insurance per the Shelter Island Marina policy 3) Ship Repairer's Liability Insurance
