Designed by Hein Driehuyzen, the Sceptre 36 was built by Sceptre Yachts Ltd. from 1978 to 1984, thirty six hulls being built in total.  Unfortunately the tooling for these boats was destroyed several years ago.  Due to the change in company ownership in 1993 construction plans and records of specific boats are no longer available. Information including plans and lots of pictures can be found on the owners group website at www.sceptre36.org.  

In 2008 the Sceptre 36 Rendezvous will be held at May 30th to June 1st at the Silva Bay Marina, and for the first time all Crown 34 owners are invited to join in the festivities.
