Annual haulouts are good preventative medicine for your boat, whether the hull is fibreglass, wood or metal.  Checking the status of the zincs, propeller & lower rudder bearings, wear on the struts of the shaft & lubricating thru hulls are all good practices to keep up.  If you miss a haulout or two, potential deterioration can go unnoticed and cost far more to repair in the long run.   When it comes time to sell your boat having a detailed log indicating annual maintenance pays off very well.

Our annual service routine below the waterline incorporates a pressure wash at haulout, new coating of antifouling, replacement of zincs.   Above the waterline the hull and deck are washed and waxed.  Fuel polishing is another service we offer at haulout if required. We usually manage a turnaround of less than a week - dependant on weather conditions.

If you have other concerns, haulout is the optimum time to discuss them with us.  Minor items can be addressed if possible or rebooking for larger jobs can be scheduled as required.   Many equipment suppliers do not carry stock and if we have good lead time items can be pre-ordered to minimize yard time during the refit.
